Looking to take part in a workshop?
This beginner-friendly pottery class is the perfect way to explore the art of pottery on the wheel — no experience needed!
You’ll learn the basics of making pottery on the wheel, guided step-by-step by experienced teacher Amanda, who brings over 17 years of pottery know-how & a relaxed, welcoming teaching style. With a small class size (max 8 people), you’ll get plenty of individual attention as you learn how to centre your clay, shape your pot, and enjoy the process of creating something from scratch. You’ll leave feeling proud, & maybe even a little addicted to the wheel!

Two ticket types to choose from:
ART TICKET – Make, Paint & Fire a Pot. Perfect for those who want to glaze, fire, & use their creations. This option includes two visits: 1. Your initial pottery workshop on the day you’ve selected. 2. A return visit 1-12 weeks later for a 1.5-hour painting session. We’ll then fire your pots twice in our kiln (up to 1220°C) — a process that takes 2–3 weeks. Once fired, your pots will be food-safe, oven- & dishwasher-friendly. You’ll have up to 12 weeks to collect them or request delivery.
CRAFT TICKET – Make a Pot (Take It Home Same Day) Best for one-off experiences & instant creativity. Use air-dry clay to make your pots, & take them home immediately in a protective box. Once dry, you can paint them at your leisure (we’ll explain how). These pots are not food-safe or waterproof but great for display.
